We’re back at it again. We’ve teamed up with Corrosive once more to shake the floor at Even for the don Voisson’s birthday. We’ve been dying to bring you another great artist, Gamma Intel. Laurens is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, known for exploring the more experimental side of dance music. His work moves between electro, techno, bass, and broken beats, always seeking new and unconventional textures that challenge the listener’s expectations while setting their shoes on fire. Unlike artists with more predictable styles, Gamma Intel prefers unusual sonic collisions, fusing complex rhythmic elements with a fine and well-crafted sound design. He’s released music on powerful and well-known labels like Pinkman, Mechatronica, and Brokntoys, and he’s the co-founder, along with Identified Patient of Nerve Collect, one of the labels we’re most excited about right now, which has released some killer releases, like Hassan Abou Alam’s Mesh Mafhoom and Doctor Jeep’s Machine Learning. Absolutely fantastic.
And we have two of our local gems playing alongside Gamma Intel. Jarita’s vinyl sets draw on her own influences, from London’s acid techno of artists like Dave The Drummer and Jerome Hill to broken rhythms and electro sounds distilled from rave culture. She recently delighted us at Ruido Blanco sessions and has played at venues like Cosmos and Prisma, and at festivals like Sinexsia. And what can we say about Voisson, another vinyl lover, with a delicate touch and a chameleon-like style, capable of opening or closing a party, or cooking up a stew of fat, addictive basslines in the meantime, and who you know will never let you down. If you don’t dance with Voisson, you’re dead. And it’s his birthday, no less.
That’s all. Save the date. January 24th. Voisson’s birthday. Corrosive + Debajo. Sala Even.
